The Owls hosted their annual Macmillan Coffee Morning at Hillsborough this morning with supporters joining special guests for the occasion.
The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s high profile fundraising event for people facing cancer, with folk all over the UK hosting events to raise funds and awareness.
Wednesday first teamers Joey Pelupessy and Marco Matias were in attendance in the club’s 1867 Lounge to back the cancer charity’s cause.
The Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme’s Fit Fans group, with former Owls striker John Pearson, were also there to lend support.
Specially made cakes and tea and coffee were available in exchange for a donation to the charity.
Thank you to everybody who came to the Owls’ Coffee Morning, the funds raised will go towards a very worthy cause.
