The Owls began the month by posting their first away victory of the season with fine goals from Adam Reach and Lucas Joao enough to seal the points against Reading at The Madejski.
Wednesday then came from two goals down to draw 2-2 at home to Stoke next time out.
Marco Matias halved the deficit midway through the first half before Barry Bannan completed the comeback with an exquisite free kick eight minutes from time.
A disappointing evening at The City Ground followed as Wednesday went down 2-1 to Nottingham Forest.
But Jos Luhukay’s side responded in style by posting a 2-1 victory at Villa Park, in what the Owls manager described as ‘the best performance’ since his arrival in January.
Matias was again on the scoresheet for Wednesday before John McGinn levelled with a wonderfully executed volley.
But Wednesday regrouped, showed character and found a way back in front as Steven Fletcher nodded past Ørjan Nyland to give the Owls the advantage and ultimately three points.
Finally, the month concluded with a Yorkshire derby at Hillsborough as Wednesday and Leeds shared the points in a 1-1 draw.
The game will be best remembered for Reach’s wonder strike that broke the deadlock in the first half and will no doubt be in the reckoning for the Goal of the Season award.
