Owls fans can now vote for their swfc.co.uk April Player of the Month.
Wednesday began April with a frustrating home defeat to Villa, who scored twice in stoppage time to take home the points.
A positive from the game was Gary Hooper returning to the scoresheet and putting Wednesday ahead after just seven minutes.
But the Owls responded three days later in S6 and turned on the style in their 3-0 home win over Nottingham Forest.
Marco Matias struck two goals, either side of a George Boyd thumping strike as Steve Bruce’s side made an immediate return to winning ways.
A 1-0 defeat away at Leeds live on Sky followed before Wednesday agonisingly missed out on three points in the Good Friday trip to Norwich.
Again, in front of the live cameras, the Owls headed into stoppage time with a 2-1 lead but had to settle for a point when Mario Vrancic found the net with his 97th minute free kick.
The Owls were a goal down at Carrow Road before Fernando Forestieri fired home a strong contender for Goal of the Season to equalise and Steven Fletcher bagged his 11th goal of the season in the second half.
The busy Easter period saw Wednesday back on home soil on the Monday, where they overcame Bristol City 2-0 with impressive goals from Barry Bannan and Lucas Joao.
And to end the month, the Owls travelled back from Preston with a point after coming back from 3-1 down to draw 3-3.
The visitors were 2-0 down at the break but pulled a goal back through Bannan four minutes after the restart.
Alan Browne restored the hosts’ two-goal lead and it looked a tough ask for Wednesday from that point on to gain anything from the final trip of the season.
But Forestieri nodded home 15 minutes from time from Atdhe Nuhiu’s centre and the big man completed the comeback two minutes later in a hectic spell at Deepdale.
Bannan whipped in the ball from the left and Nuhiu’s header found the bottom corner.
