Fernando Forestieri’s stunning strike against Norwich has been voted as the Owls’ Goal of the Season.
There seemed very little on for Forestieri at Carrow Road as picked up the ball 35 yards out but Argentine shimmied and unleashed a thunderbolt strike that whistled into the top corner.
The goal has won the award with 58% of the fans’ vote.
The standard was high for the club’s Goal of the Season award with the video of contending strikes gaining widespread attention from football fans up and down the country.
The top three strikes as chosen by Wednesdayites were as follows;
Forestieri v Norwich 58%
Reach v Leeds 31%
Reach v West Brom 5%
