Wednesday moved up to third in the Championship following the 1-0 win over Bristol City at Hillsborough on Sunday.

Man of the Match Barry Bannan secured the points by scoring the only goal of the game from the penalty spot five minutes from time.

The Owls will be looking to extend their fine run of form over the Christmas period and head to Stoke with four wins from the last five and unbeaten in six.

Stoke, meanwhile, dropped to the bottom of the division on Monday as a result of Wigan gaining a point away at Blackburn.
