In celebration of Valentine’s Day next week, Sheffield Wednesday have created a Love Lock Goal for fans to show their love - with Hillsborough as witness!
Love Locks originated in Asia, when couples fix a padlock to chains on sections of iconic monuments.
Names or initials are added and once locked with the key thrown away, legend says this symbolizes love together that will last forever.
Our Love Lock Goal will be situated outside the Owls Megastore from this Saturday, 9 February and over the coming weeks.
Official SWFC Love Locks are available at the Megastore for £15 for a regular size or £25 for large.
The locks contain a blank tag on which fans can write an everlasting message, together with a blue and white ribbon.
So with Valentine’s Day on the horizon, the Love Lock makes the perfect present for the Wednesdayite love of your life!
