Last Saturday the Owls’ NCS programme conducted their matchday takeover when Wednesday took on Reading.
Past National Citizen Service graduates, new sign-ups for summer 2019, and those interested in the programme came together to celebrate what NCS is all about!
The NCS is a four-phase programme designed to provide youngsters aged 15-17 with new experiences.
It’s the country’s fastest growing youth movement and gives participants all the tools they will need for the future, with plenty of fun to be had in the meantime!
The day began with the NCS’ group of young people and parents going pitchside to meet Owls players Steven Fletcher and Sam Hutchinson.
During half time the NCS youth board walked around the pitch to promote the programme for summer 2019.
NCS Coordinator, Zoe Blythe, said: “The day was fantastic, all the young people and parents that came along had a great time!
“Hopefully the promotion of the programme on the day will encourage even more young people to get involved in this amazing experience!’
