Caretaker boss Steve Agnew has explained the importance of a full week with the players on the training ground.
Agnew and first team coach Stephen Clemence met with the players for the first time last Friday, just one day before the FA Cup third round tie with Luton at Hillsborough.
Ahead of the trip to in-form Hull City on Saturday, Agnew says the time on the training pitch with the players this week is vital, explaining:
“It’s very important, not only on the training ground but the video work and the feedback.
“We can start to feedback to the players of where we need to improve, how we need to improve to create more chances and score more goals.
“As coaches that is what you need, you need that time.
“We have that time this week and we will make sure the work goes in and let’s hope we see a reflection of that on Saturday.”
The Owls’ pre-Hull City press conference will take place on Friday morning and supporters can watch live on the club’s official Facebook page from 11.00am.
