Sheffield Wednesday will host Bury in round one of the Carabao Cup.
The draw was made on Thursday evening live from Morrisons, Colindale with John Barnes and Ray Parlour selecting the 35 first round fixtures.
The cup clash will take place week commencing 12 August.
The date, kick-off time and ticket details will be announced in due course.
Wednesday’s last meeting with the Shakers came back in the 2011/12 season when the Owls triumphed 4-1 at Hillsborough in the League One fixture.
Bury gained automatic promotion from League Two in 2018/19, finishing in second position with 79 points.
