The countdown to the season can truly begin on Thursday as Sheffield Wednesday’s fixture schedule is released for the 2019/20 campaign.
All eyes will be on the club’s official website and social media channels from 9.00am on Thursday.
The day has traditionally proven one of the biggest on the football calendar and busiest days in terms of traffic to swfc.co.uk.

Then on into the evening on Thursday, attention will turn to the Carabao Cup first round draw.
As communicated on Monday morning, the draw will take place at 7.00pm on the same day as the league fixtures are released.
70 EFL clubs will feature in the first round draw which will see teams drawn in Northern and Southern sections, as in 2018.
Matches are scheduled to take place week commencing 12 August.
