Steven Fletcher capped his 100th appearance for the Owls with a goal against Blackburn on Saturday at Hillsborough.
The in-form striker set the ball rolling in an entertaining S6 clash by tapping home in the tenth minute to break the deadlock.
Wednesday went on to win 4-2 to maintain their unbeaten run which stands at 11 games in the Championship.
Fletcher, who was crowned as the January and February swfc.co.uk Player of the Month, has scored five goals in his last six games for Wednesday.
The 31-year-old has been in outstanding form under Steve Bruce, with the Wednesday boss singing his praises during Saturday’s post-match reaction.
“I don’t like to single out players but Steven Fletcher has been immense,” the Owls boss said while summing up the victory over Rovers.
Fletcher joined Wednesday in summer 2016 and has scored 24 goals since.
