The South Stand boasts a hive of matchday activity!
A magnificent sight on game day, the South Stand houses the players’ entrance, dressing rooms, the famous tunnel, hospitality suites, dugouts and offers superb views overlooking the pitch.
Continuing our theme of going around the ground ahead of Season Ticket deadline on 18 March - this time we spoke to Peter Law, our club historian, who is approaching his 50th year as a Season Ticket holder!
Having not missed a league game at Hillsborough since 1987, he told us:
“During the 2010/11 season, if I'm being honest, my eyesight started to deteriorate and as we were seated quite far back the action was getting a bit blurry. Being in denial, rather than admit I needed specs I suggested to my brother that we change seats to either the North or South and sit nearer the front.
“When I went to renew our Season Tickets a chap in the Ticket Office took me for a look in the South Stand and I picked out two available seats that fitted the bill so have sat there since 2011.
“I love the seats. We're midway between the home dug out and the Directors’ Box so it feels like we're at the heart of the action and have a great view of the pitch.
“The people around us are friendly, it's ideal for families and, dare I say it, more 'experienced' fans!”

Early Bird Season Tickets are the cheapest way to secure your seat for the 2019/20 campaign.
The deadline closes on Monday 18 March at 5.00pm in the Megastore and midnight online.
Multi-Year Season Tickets are available to purchase too, with the option to commit from two-five years.

Supporters can spread the cost of their 2019/20 Early Bird Season Ticket over six or ten months with our finance partner V12 retail finance.
An arrangement fee is included for each option which is taken out of the first payment.
