Following its hugely successful introduction during the 2018 pre-season, Sheffield Wednesday are delighted to announce that pitch hire is back in 2019 – and bigger than ever!
Over the course of three weeks in May and June, over 1,000 adults and 500 children took to the Hillsborough pitch last time out.
The club facilitated the chance to dream and experience Hillsborough like never before as S6 played host to corporate bookings, Sunday League sides, celebrities, 5-a-side, pub cup and junior football tournaments, stag dos – along with the final for the Sunday Senior Cup.
This year, we’re again welcoming players of all abilities and ages, from under 8 junior sides all the way through to over 65s!
