Barry Bannan has been voted as the swfc.co.uk April Player of the Month.
The 29-year-old has scooped the award with 50% of the fans’ vote.
With five appearances for the Owls in April, Bannan was the outstanding choice of the supporters for the final swfc.co.uk monthly accolade of 2018/19.
The influential midfield man scored two goals to take his tally for the season to five.
The Owls’ Easter Monday clash with Bristol City saw Bannan break the deadlock with an unstoppable strike from range before he claimed an assist with a sublime ball to Lucas Joao for the second.
And Bannan was on target next time out away at Preston in the entertaining 3-3 draw at Deepdale.
Trailing 2-0 at the break, Bannan pulled a goal back for the Owls four minutes after the restart as the Scot executed a fierce drive right into the top corner from a clever Marco Matias backheel.
