The Owls head to The Valley on Saturday to face a Charlton side ravaged by injury but Garry Monk will not allow a hint of complacency to enter the camp.
With an unlucky 13 players in the injury bay, the Addicks will be stretched to say the least as they seek a return to winning ways.
Equally, Wednesday are out for a welcome boost, making for an intriguing contest in the capital.
Monk said: “They have injuries but they will still field a good team with effort and commitment.
"They have that spirit which you often see with teams that are promoted and they have that winning mentality.
“But we’re concentrating on ourselves and we will approach this game like any other. We’re doing so many things right and we’re close to where we need to be.
“We’ve been unfortunate within that but we’re not downhearted, we know we should have more points and we have been working hard to improve.”
