For the last two seasons all EFL clubs have given their full ongoing support to a ‘Club Charter on Pyrotechnics’ and associated campaigns.
During that time, strong action has been taken against any use of pyrotechnics inside football stadia.
The use of any pyrotechnics means innocent parties may be at risk of serious injury as a result.
By signing up to the Charter, all EFL Clubs have agreed that:
‘Any fan found attempting to bring pyrotechnics into any football stadium or identified discharging them while inside a stadium, will be issued with a club ban of not less than three seasons.’
Sheffield Wednesday fully endorse the Pyrotechnic Charter and are reminding supporters of their conduct whilst following the team home and away.
