Sheffield Wednesday are giving their support to those worst affected by recent flooding in the region and urging fans to donate items where possible.
Residents in Doncaster have been amongst those worst hit in South Yorkshire, with the challenging conditions and severe flooding causing major disruption and damage to properties.
The village of Fishlake in Doncaster remains submerged in water, with residents forced to leave their damaged homes.
‘Severe’ flood warnings remain in place with more and more being forced to evacuate.
The Owls Megastore and Middlewood Road Training Complex are designated drop-off points for people wishing to donate items.
Important items include:
• Non-perishable foods
• Mops, buckets and other cleaning materials
• Clothing
• Tin foil/take away food cartons
All items will be collected by the Hatfield Spotlight Theatre Group and delivered directly to the people most affected.
All donations will be greatly appreciated.
