Versatility can be a key component of the modern player’s profile and Dominic Iorfa is currently subscribing to that point of view.
The towering defender made an immediate impression for the Owls in the right back berth following his arrival back in January but has elevated his popularity more recently at centre half.
Irrespective of his position on the pitch, Iorfa is pleased with his progress in these parts.
He said: “First and foremost I want to play games and give my all for the team.
“Regarding my position, this is the first time in my career that I’ve had a run of games at centre half and I’m enjoying it.
“I played more at right back at Wolves but I feel I’m getting better and better here in the middle.
“Like any position, the more you play there the better you will be.
“Right now, I want to keep playing, keep improving. We have competition for places all over the team and that’s a healthy place to be for the manager.”
