Lewis Farmer’s stunning strike for the Owls Under-18s against Coventry is in the running to win the League Football Education (LFE) September Goal of the Month award.
The SWFC second year scholar’s superb effort against the Sky Blues is in the mix amongst seven other terrific academy goals for the month.
Wednesday travelled to Coventry midway through September and eased to victory, scoring four unanswered goals in the West Midlands.
But it was the final goal of the day that caught the eye as Farmer showed neat skills to cut inside his marker and take a touch before picking out the top corner.
The unstoppable hit is up for the Goal of the Month award and supporters have until Friday 18 October to cast their vote.
