Wednesday supporters group the Wise Old Owls are backing local homeless charity Emmaus Sheffield by donating clothes to those in need.
The Wise Old Owls were inspired by Graham Bostock, who runs Emmaus Sheffield, after he was invited to be a guest speaker at the group’s monthly lunch meeting at Hillsborough recently.
Emmaus are a homeless charity that has branches up and down the UK, dedicated to helping people who are living on the street and improving their lives for the future.
The Wise Old Owls will launch their ‘Black Bag Day’ on Wednesday 16 October, where they will be donating clothes to the charity at their monthly meeting, and they are urging fellow Wednesdayites to help the cause too.
To get involved, please bring second-hand clothes to Hillsborough on Wednesday 16 October, where they will be donated to Emmaus and given to those who need it most.
