The Owls Under-18s made it back to back wins at the weekend overcoming Crewe 1-0 at Middlewood Road.
Fresh off the back of a convincing 4-0 win away at Coventry the previous week, the Wednesday youngsters continued their good start to the campaign on home soil.
The decisive moment came on 32 minutes when L’Varn Brandy and Charles Hagan combined down the right and as the low cross went into the box from Hagan, Elliott Vasalo pounced from close range to score.
The Owls are now unbeaten since the opening day with three wins and two draws from their last five games and face a trip to Hull next weekend (11am).
