Julian Borner has been voted the swfc.co.uk August Player of the Month.
The contest was incredibly tight, with the German defender receiving just eight more votes than Kadeem Harris in second place!
Borner, who joined the Owls from Arminia Bielefeld in the summer, has enjoyed a strong start to his Wednesday career, putting in several solid performances in the heart of the Owls defence.
Already a fans’ favourite, the 28-year-old has helped Wednesday to two clean sheets so far this campaign.
Harris, another new recruit, narrowly missed out on the prize after scoring two goals during his first month with the club.
Steven Fletcher takes third place after bagging three goals for the Owls in August.
