In late March Sheffield Wednesday announced the launch of our official COVID-19 donation page.
With football suspended because of the pandemic, the implications and ripples have been widespread and at Sheffield Wednesday, our focus remains very firmly on the community.
In particular, those who are especially vulnerable and need our help the most; homeless, the hungry, the elderly, the visually impaired and those with physical or mental needs.
As such, at first base, we pledged £20,000 to kick off the donation page which is dedicated to raising much-needed funds for a host of local charities on the frontline.
And the Owls fanbase have followed our lead and boosted the pot by over £5000!
Donations big and small have all been gratefully received and every penny will make a difference!
