A broad selection of supporter groups have teamed up in New York to help raise vital funds in the battle against Coronavirus.
New York has been hit particularly hard during the Covid-19 crisis.
And in a show of solidarity, supporter groups of all clubs in the city have united with the aim of raising vital funds for NYC Health and hospitals.
The New York Owls along with 33 other New York supporter groups have raised over $30,000 so far.
The #nykickscoronavirus funding page says:
“During this difficult moment we need unity more than ever, and the one thing that unites us all is the beautiful game.
“Football supporter clubs of New York (spanning eight countries and proving what a diverse melting pot this city really is) are teaming up to bring COVID-19 down.
“We'll be donating all the money from this page to NYC Health + Hospitals, the largest public health care system in the nation, serving more than one million New Yorkers annually in more than 70 patient care locations across the five boroughs.
“The mission is to care for all regardless of ability to pay or immigration status.
“Let’s show our gratitude to those working on the front line, and to finally show Coronavirus the red card.”
