The Owls’ trip to Walsall in the first round of the Carabao Cup has been selected for live broadcast coverage by Sky Sports.
The game will take place on Saturday 5 September at the Banks’s Stadium, kick-off 2.15pm.
The League Cup clash will precede Wednesday’s Championship campaign, which gets underway the following weekend at Cardiff City.
