Liam Palmer’s School of Excellence have places available for junior teams to join their Festival of Fun this summer!
The Owls defender set up his coaching venture last year, aiming to give youngsters an opportunity to learn and enjoy the beautiful game.
This month, junior teams will take part in a full weekend of fun, with a 5-a-side tournament and a host of other activities.
There will be medals for all participants, as well as a BBQ, bouncy castle and raffle ahead of the winners’ trophy presentation.
So far, SJR Juniors, Retford Juniors, G3A FC, Harworth Colliery, Scawthorpe Scorpions, AFC Dronfield Galacticos, Kimberworth Park and Greasbrough have all signed up to take part!
Spaces are available for Under-10 junior sides on Saturday 15 August, and Under-9 and Under-11s on Sunday 16 August.
The tournament takes place at the Ye Olde Bell Hotel, North Road, Retford, DN22 8QS.
The event is FA certified, with COVID-19 protocols in place to ensure a safe environment for all involved.
Registration is at 9.30am for a 10.00am start, with the afternoon session beginning at 1.30pm.
