Members of the club’s supporter group Wise Old Owls were given a special festive treat earlier this week with the launch of our Project Hampers!
The Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme, along with club staff, first team players, academy coaches and scholars, all joined forces to make Project Hampers a day to remember.
With well over 100 members, every single Wise Old Owl supporter was paid a visit by a club official and given the gift of a Christmas Hamper on Monday of this week.
More on Project Hamper tomorrow and all the good things going on around that...

Also we hope Susan, who appears in the video at the end, has a great birthday on Saturday!

In association with our club partners Cadbury’s, Brakes, Country Fresh Food and Lightfoot Wines, members of the club’s community programme had been busy over the last week assembling and preparing all hampers, ready for the big drop off!
The luxury hampers were made up of fantastic products from our club partners, whom we thank for their valuable input from the beginning.
The Wise Old Owls were formed in 2001 with an original membership of 12 people and the group have gone from strength to strength since and we hope you all enjoy the hampers!
