The Owls will once again be supporting Stonewall’s Rainbow Laces campaign this weekend at Hillsborough.
Wednesday face South Yorkshire rivals Barnsley on Saturday and will use the game to highlight that homophobia and discrimination in any form will not be tolerated, on the pitch, in the stands or on social media.
Both captains will wear rainbow-coloured armbands, with the corner flags and substitution boards also donning the iconic colours.
The annual campaign aims to support the LGBT community and ensure an inclusive, safe and welcoming environment for everyone in sport.
