Owls supporters can now vote for your swfc.co.uk December Player of the Month.
After eight games during a hectic festive schedule, Wednesday registered two wins, two draws and four defeats.
The month began with a 1-1 draw against promotion-chasing Reading, with Callum Paterson scoring his second Owls goal of the campaign.
A Josh Windass strike had us in front against Norwich at Carrow Road, but we fell to a late 2-1 defeat against the Canaries.
Following a 2-0 defeat to Huddersfield, Windass was on target once again as the Owls were beaten 2-1 by local rivals Barnsley.
Wednesday lost 2-0 against Nottingham Forest before the start of a three-match unbeaten run, starting with a big three points at home against Coventry.
Tom Lees’ bullet header gave the Owls a 1-0 victory against the Sky Blues with the clean sheet just as rewarding.
A Boxing Day trip to Ewood Park saw a trademark, long-range Adam Reach strike put Wednesday in front, but Rovers pulled one back to see us leave Lancashire with a point.
The month was rounded off with a 2-1 win over Middlesbrough in S6, with Paterson and Liam Shaw on the scoresheet for the Owls to make it seven points from nine and successive home wins.
