Wednesday head to Kenilworth Road this evening after back to back draws with Millwall and Barnsley.
The Owls will be aiming to bring an end to their four-game winless run in the Championship.
Luton, meanwhile, have just one win from their last 12 outings but know a victory this evening would see the Hatters rise from the foot of the division.
Wednesday’s last league win at Kenilworth Road came way back in March 1989 but the Owls did triumph 1-0 last season in the FA Cup replay, with Atdhe Nuhiu scoring the game’s only goal.
Team news
SWFC: Garry Monk is hopeful to have Owls duo Morgan Fox (ankle) and Massimo Luongo (groin) available for the Luton clash.
Moses Odubajo (hamstring) and Adam Reach (toe) will be assessed ahead of the game.
Luton: The Hatters are likely to be unchanged from the weekend 1-0 home defeat to Cardiff.
The only question for manager Graeme Jones is the fitness of Izzy Brown, who was substituted on Saturday on the hour as a precaution after picking up a knock.
