Match preview: Owls v Reading

14 February 2020

It’s a quick turnaround for the Owls this weekend with a home clash against Reading on Saturday (3.00pm).

Wednesday’s winless run in the Championship extended to five games in midweek following the 1-0 defeat at Luton.

Garry Monk has demanded his squad to show fight and character in order to turn their fortunes around.

Wednesday host a Reading side, who are also struggling for victories of late with no wins in seven Championship outings.

The Royals are five points and four places below the Owls in 16th spot (39 points).

The two sides last met on the opening day of the campaign with the Owls bagging three points in the 3-1 win at the Madejski.

Team news
