Young Owls midfielder Lewis Farmer has been nominated for the League Football Education (LFE) Goal of the Season award for his long range strike against Coventry City.
The 18-year-old’s stunning effort against the Sky Blues saw him win the LFE Goal of the Month award for September.
The game against Coventry finished 4-0 to Wednesday’s Under-18s, with Farmer’s strike being the pick of the bunch.
The youngster recently extended his stay with the club, signing his first professional contract which will see him move up to the Owls’ Development Squad next season.
