Owls welcome Wednesday Bet – play FREE tonight!

22 July 2020

The Owls are pleased to announce a brand new partnership with Wednesday Bet, the unique app in which supporters predict the outcome of select SWFC markets to win a share of a cash prize pool from every game.

A minimum £1,000 is guaranteed, and the more fans who enter, the higher the pool will grow.

Wednesday Bet launches in time for the season finale against Middlesbrough and, as an introductory offer, supporters can play for FREE tonight to have the chance of winning the £1,000 prize pool.

Wednesday Bet is brought to you by Low6, who have presented the app into a broad section of sports, including football, horse racing and darts. Co-founder Jamie Mitchell, a lifelong Wednesdayite and Hillsborough Season Ticket holder, told swfc.co.uk:

“We are delighted to announce our partnership with the Owls. The Wednesday Bet app is fun and easy to play, with fans betting on what they know most about - Sheffield Wednesday!

“Wednesday Bet is unlike traditional sports betting sites, there are no odds presented before games. Instead, every match offers a series of questions, from which fans predict the outcome for the chance to win the prize pool.

“The unique selling point of the app is that selections don’t even have to be correct – the winner just has to predict more correct answers than everyone else to take the top prize.”

The Owls’ Commercial Director Liam Dooley added: “We are excited for the launch of Wednesday Bet and our partnership with Jamie and his team at Low6. Revenue is channelled directly back into the club and with a £1,000 prize guaranteed from every Wednesday game, it really is win-win!”

The Wednesday Bet App is available now for both iOS and Android devices and supporters can place their first FREE bet ahead of tonight’s game against Middlesbrough.
