The Owls’ official matchday programme is back amongst the awards!
The club received notification this week that ‘Wednesday’ has been voted Championship Programme of the Year by Sports Trader magazine.
Facing stiff competition from around the second tier, with the standard widely accepted as an all-time high, ‘Wednesday’ took the spoils to add some more silverware to the sideboard!
Sports Trader Treasurer and Sub-Editor Alan Budd said: “We looked for excellent layout, good content and most of all, value for money. The Sheffield Wednesday programme was easily the best we received from a large response.”
Programmes, of course, were halted by the COVID-19 pandemic earlier in the campaign but the ‘Wednesday’ team have something up our sleeves for the end of the season.
In line with guidance received, we will not be producing a regular programme for our five remaining home games but watch this space for the final day…
In the meantime, because the Nottingham Forest edition was printed just before the season suspension, we are making the original copy available by mail order only for Saturday’s game.
