The Owls Under-18s bounced back from consecutive defeats by posting a resounding win over Burnley on Saturday at Middlewood Road.
Wednesday looked lively from the off against the Clarets and went ahead after nine minutes.
Paulo Aguas’ hard work in closing down the right back paid off for the youngster as Wednesday won possession and Alex Bonnington finished confidently with the goalkeeper out of position.
Aguas then turned creator for the second goal seven minutes into the second half.

After taking on his maker on the left flank, the forward picked out Luke Hall in the box, who controlled, swivelled and fired high into the net.
Basile Zottos then marked his return from suspension by scoring the third of the game to make the points safe.
Bonnington again was at the heart of the move, testing the goalkeeper with a low strike that was pushed out only as far as Zottos, who had the simple task of finishing from close range.
The fourth goal arrived from a neat set piece drill on 68 minutes. Aguas floated in the delivery, Charlie Reaney nodded back into the danger zone for Bonnington to head home inside the six-yard box.
