The SWFC academy hosted a virtual and valuable education session on Friday for youngsters and parents with some very special guests to boot.
Academy graduates Cameron Dawson, Joe Wildsmith, Liam Palmer and Alex Hunt were invited into the Zoom room, where the aspiring Owls pitched a multitude of questions to the SWFC quartet.
Parents also chipped in as a range of topics were covered from professional pathways through to the present day, with plenty thrown in along the way.
Academy manager Steven Haslam told swfc.co.uk: “The session was a really positive education tool for the boys, from the Under-8s to the Under-16s.
“I have to say a big thank you to Cammy, Joe, Liam and Alex for taking part and keeping everyone so engaged.
“It’s really important for the boys and the parents to have as much information as possible about the football journey ahead.
“We covered a range of subjects and getting the parents involved worked really well, we’ve already had some very positive feedback.
“The story of each player is unique and for the pros to pass on their experience and knowledge to the boys is invaluable really.
“It also gave the boys something to look forward to for a few days before in the lockdown so all in all I was really pleased.”
