The Owls have been dealt a further injury blow as Jack Marriott is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
The Derby loanee has suffered a calf strain, which manager Tony Pulis described as ‘long term’.
He said: “Jack’s gone back to Derby. He has a calf injury that is long term, it will be around six to seven weeks.”
Marriott joins fellow S6 loanee Aden Flint in the recovery room after the towering defender picked up a hamstring injury in our Championship reverse at Rotherham in late October.
Meanwhile, Josh Windass will miss the next three games following his dismissal at Preston on Saturday.
Windass will sit out our upcoming fixtures with Swansea, Stoke and Reading.
