The S6 Foodbank are looking for Wednesdayites to join their ‘Stepping Out for S6’ campaign to help combat poverty and hunger in the UK.
The ‘Stepping Out for S6’ initiative encourages people to walk 60,000 steps, whether that is in one week or one month, and raise at least £40 in sponsorship.
This fundraising drive aims to increase cash donations for S6 Foodbank, who are focusing on buying products in bulk due to the increased demand brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The organisation is part of a nationwide network of foodbanks and aims to support those suffering from hunger and poverty across the UK.
