Following a tense 90 minutes + 30 minutes extra time at Hampden Park, it was Scotland who were perfect from the spot, scoring all five penalties.
Next-up for Paterson and co. is a Nations League double-header in Glasgow, beginning with Slovakia on Sunday and Czech Republic three days later.
