The Owls will pay our respects to all members of the Sheffield Wednesday family who have passed away during the last year before our final home game of the season.
The last 12 months have been without doubt incredibly difficult, with supporters, former players and officials and members of staff having left us amid these most challenging of times.
With light at the end of the tunnel for the COVID-19 era, our final game at Hillsborough against Nottingham Forest on Saturday 1 May will be preceded by a minute’s silence in memory of all those who have passed.
The players will don black armbands to further mark the remembrance and the big screen will display the names of those close to the club no longer with us.
Supporters can now send us the names of loved ones you wish to be included by emailing website@swfc.co.uk before Tuesday 27 April.
