Darren Moore has predicted an exciting game between two in-form sides this evening at Fratton Park.
Both clubs are on impressive unbeaten runs and go head-to-head tonight in front of the Sky Sports cameras.
Portsmouth, unbeaten in seven, host the Owls, unbeaten in 10, in League One.
For Darren Moore’s side, it’s three wins from the last five in league action, while Pompey are top of the form table over the past six games having won five of those fixtures.
The gaffer said: “Both teams are in great form and there will be a wonderful atmosphere down there. We will take a good away following.
"The big thing for us is to make sure we get the game plan right.
"It will be a real exciting game between two teams competing at the right end of the division, we know Portsmouth are strong and we have to be ready.
"You would probably look at it as two heavyweights of the division going head-to-head. It is live on TV and a great advert for League One football.”
It will be the first meeting between the sides since way back in April 2003 when the Owls picked up a 2-1 win at Fratton Park.
Moore added: “We have to focus and make sure the momentum we have built up in the league continues.
“Portsmouth have really turned a corner over the last four or five weeks with their performances. They have tightened up and are scoring goals, playing some aggressive football.
"We have also shown a resilience in the league and we are looking to continue our momentum. We know it will be a tough game and we will have to be at our best.
“We are harder to beat and getting positive results."
