Liam Shaw will serve a two-match suspension following his dismissal on Saturday in our home clash with Birmingham.
The 19-year-old picked up a second yellow card five minutes into the second half against the Blues.
With Shaw already having a red card to his name this season from our 1-1 draw with Reading back in early December, the suspension is now set at two games.
The young midfielder will miss the trip to Brentford in midweek and the home clash with Luton on Saturday.
Caretaker manager Neil Thompson said: “He is devastated that he was sent off and it obviously impacts on how we played. It's part of football.
“Whether you make a mistake and it is with the ball or you get sent off, you have got to learn from it and Liam will learn.
“When you are on a yellow, you run the risk. He is devastated. He has got to learn from that and I'm sure he will.”
