The Owls are looking to post their fourth consecutive win on home soil this weekend as they welcome Preston to Hillsborough.
Wednesday head into the game on the back of three successive S6 victories over Coventry, Middlesbrough and Derby.
Neil Thompson, though, is looking for a reaction from his side after defeat away at Coventry in midweek.
The Owls slipped to a 2-0 loss at St Andrew’s and now face Preston at Hillsborough.
The Lilywhites are 11th in the Championship and six points outside of the top six.

SWFC: Chey Dunkley has returned to full training, though Thompson has said the weekend game will come too soon but is hopeful to have the defender back available next week.
Joost van Aken has also returned to training.
Moses Odubajo (hamstring) has been ruled out.
Preston: Alex Neil has reported no fresh injury concerns.
Left back Greg Cunningham is available for selection after completing his loan move from Cardiff.
Andrew Hughes (shoulder) will be assessed ahead of the game.
Declan Rudd, Patrick Bauer and Louis Moult are longer term injury concerns for PNE.
