Our Under-18s were back to winning ways on Saturday after six weeks without a fixture.
The trip to Nottingham Forest ended in a 1-0 victory for the Wednesday youngsters with Basile Zottos scoring the decisive goal at the Nigel Doughty Academy.
There was very little between the sides over the course of the 90 minutes but the crucial breakthrough went the Owls’ way with 18 minutes on the clock.
Luke Hall’s corner was flicked on by Alex Bonnington across the six-yard box and Zottos was quickest to react to fire home from close range.
