Andre Green spoke with E-act Pathways Academy following training on Wednesday to give youngsters insight into how he became a professional footballer.
The academy for primary school-aged children were conducting an assembly on being inspired and asked Andre questions about what it takes to make a career in the beautiful game.
The Q&A took place over Zoom after the Owls’ afternoon training session at Middlewood Road.
Helen Shepherd, Premier League Primary Stars Officer at the Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme said: “For Andre to be able to tell his story to the students was brilliant.
"We all know that footballers have an inspirational story to tell, so this was exciting for us to arrange with Andre.
"The children asked some great questions and we want to say a big thank you to Mr Millns at the school for organising this with us."
Andre added: “I really enjoyed speaking to the children.
“They asked some really good questions and it was nice to share my experiences with them from when I was their age.
“It’s important to inspire the next generation, so if I can contribute by speaking with them, then it's a huge bonus.”
Thank you to everyone at Pathways Academy!
