After the midweek success in the Papa John’s Trophy, Wednesday return to league action on Saturday.

Heading into the game, the Owls are two points outside the play-off spots and have hit a resilient patch of form.

Gillingham are one point and two places above the drop zone at this early stage in the season.

REMEMBRANCE DAY FIXTURE

This is our designated Remembrance league fixture. Our shirts will display a poppy and the game will commence following a bugle rendition of ‘The Last Post’ and a minute’s silence.

The match-worn shirts will be made available to purchase in a live auction straight from kick-off, with proceeds going to the Royal British Legion.

Supporters who are current serving members or veterans of the Armed Forces will receive a 10% discount in the Owls Megastore – please bring your valid forces or veterans card to claim the discount.

PRE-MATCH STATS

- The Owls have 10 clean sheets in all competitions this season – third highest from the top four tiers

- This included three consecutive clean sheets heading into Saturday’s game

- Wednesday are unbeaten in nine games, with just one defeat in 13

- The Owls have the meanest defence, alongside Sunderland, in League One on home soil with just four goals conceded

- In League One, Wednesday’s current unbeaten streak is six games, while Gillingham head to Hillsborough unbeaten in three

- Owls looking to record back-to-back league wins for the first time since August

TEAM NEWS

Owls: Bailey Peacock-Farrell is with Northern Ireland on international duty which means Joe Wildsmith, who turned in a fantastic midweek display against Harrogate, will get the nod between the sticks.

Massimo Luongo and George Byers are available for selection having made their comeback in the midweek Papa John’s Trophy clash.

Josh Windass is back on the grass training with the squad as the forward edges closer to a return.

Dominic Iorfa (hip) will spend a period of time on the sidelines. The defender picked up the impact injury in our recent fixture with Lincoln and is expected to be out until the New Year.

Sam Hutchinson and Lewis Gibson remain unavailable.

Gillingham: The visitors this weekend have injury concerns to contend with.

Ryan Jackson, Robbie McKenzie and Rhys Bennett are all injury doubts after picking up knocks at the weekend.

Mustapha Carayol (illness) could return to action at Hillsborough.

Stuart O’Keefe (hamstring) may return while Max Ehmer is a doubt after picking up knock last time out.

TICKET OFFICE / MEGASTORE OPENING TIMES

The Ticket Office and Megastore will open at 9.00am until kick-off, then re-open for 45 minutes after the final whistle. Tickets are available in all areas of the ground, priced from £19 for adult Members and £5 for under 11 Members.

PRE-PAID TICKET COLLECTION

Supporters who opt to collect tickets from the Ticket Office can do so until 1.15pm.

Thereafter, all North Stand/Kop ticket holders go to Gate 18 and South Stand/Grandstand holders from the South Stand Ticket Office.

There will be one cash turnstile on each home stand.

AWAY FANS

Gillingham have sold just under 600 tickets. Visiting supporters will be able to purchase on the day from turnstile 20.

FOUNDATION LOUNGE

The 1867 Lounge will open from midday for Foundation Members.

WEDNESDAY TAP

The Wednesday Tap will open from midday.

50/50 DRAW

Look out for sellers on the perimeter of the ground and for just £1 you could win up to £2,000 at half time!

Ex-Owls goalkeeper Lee Grant, who is our corporate guest, will make the draw at half time.

LIVE BROADCAST

Live match commentary will be provided by iFollow with Rob O’Neill and John Pearson, while the game will be streamed live overseas.
