Owls youngster Lewis Farmer has joined Redditch United on a one-month loan deal.
The 19-year-old will join the Southern League Premier Division side ahead of their home fixture versus Nuneaton Borough on Saturday.
A former captain of our Under-18s, Farmer signed his first professional contract at Hillsborough in July 2020 and extended by a further year in the summer.
Farmer, who was part of the 18s squad that lifted the North and National titles in 2018/19, has since become a regular in Lee Bullen’s Under-23 squad.
The midfielder becomes the latest to leave S6 on a temporary basis to gain valuable experience in senior football, following the likes of Luke Jackson, Josh Dawodu, Ryan Galvin, Ciaran Brennan, Liam Waldock and Charles Hagan from our 23s squad.
