Liam Palmer has been crowned the Wise Old Owls’ Player of the Season!
The defender has featured 42 times for Wednesday so far this campaign, scoring twice to aid our play-off push.
Palmer received the majority vote from members of Wednesday’s long-standing supporters group to claim the award.
The 30-year-old becomes the first player to be named the WOO Player of the Season for a second time, having first won the prize in 2013/14.
After Tuesday’s 1-0 victory over Crewe at Hillsborough, Palmer has now played 341 games for Wednesday since making his professional debut in 2010.
