The Owls Under-18s' campaign begins later this month on Saturday 20 August away at Colchester.
As the youngsters’ preparation continues for the new season, the 18s faced Mansfield Town Under-19s away from home in a friendly on Wednesday afternoon.
Goals from Devlan Moses, Mario Bobea and Tafadzwa Tapudzai gave the Owls a 3-0 win.
