Fisayo Dele-Bashiru has been named in the League One Team of the Week!
The Owls midfielder bagged a stunning brace in our season opener against Portsmouth on Saturday, which ended in a 3-3 draw.
Marvin Johnson had put Wednesday in front before the visitors levelled through Connor Ogilivie, then, moments later, Dele-Bashiru found space on the edge of the area and smashed the ball past Joshua Griffiths to put the Owls 2-1 up.
Then, after Portsmouth gained a 3-2 lead, the athletic midfielder hit an unstoppable shot into the top corner to restore parity for Darren Moore’s side.
